The London festival of architecture has started. This year it goes on for four weeks and the program is hefty. Since it is all spread out throughout town you will have to search for the highlights. The Barlett final show is definitely one of them. This is a great show. Loads of work have been crammed into the Slade galleries, with models hanging from the ceiling and wherever possible. I love the way they are using a wide range of media and there are surprisingly little digital stuff. The work are quite abstract and it looks so good that it is easy to forget to reflect over whether the actual project is good or not. My first year at Kingston I feel have been too digital and it was truly inspiring to see some photography and textures in the work. Something to aim for to next year. Below are some random photos from the show.
